these crazy Chicago winds could have done my bee hive in, last night, but thank goodness I (admittedly) drunkenly and possibly foolishly, but after all intuitively, moved them down to the lower roof last week.
so yeah, my hillbilly ass was dragging a bee hive across a roof in my nightgown and bare feet at 630am. no complaints though, the bees are okay, I got them out of the way of the other fence just in case it also decides to go, I braced the 2x4s with just about the heaviest brick (is that even a brick, or is it a cornerstone for a building??) that I've ever picked up, and I couldn't ask for much more than that. windy city, indeed.
