okay, so I definitely didn't do a full inspection today. for one thing, it's been rainy, and it's still terribly windy. I also don't have a veil or gloves (at this point, do I even need them?), and my smoker kept going out. but I did manage to get that second super and queen excluder on the hive, and I checkerboarded the frames. work, girls, work!
a couple of the lil' honeys were especially froggy, flying at my face, hitting me square on the nose, getting into my hair for what felt like an excruciating amount of time. they had me hoppin' and running across the roof a few times, cussing and trying to talk them down (as if that would work). it must've been a sight to see, haha!
