I'm enjoying this moment to relax. I'm appreciating my mother and father, and their friends, the ones who raised me right, taught me to grow my own food as much as I can, played good music for me, the ones who knew how to sit back on the porch with something to smoke and a beer to sip on. I couldn't have grown up any other way, this is just right.
the bees are happy and working hard, I'll do my first hive inspection this Sunday if the weather is agreeable.
the composting worms are also happy, and well fed.
my flowers, vegetables, and herbs are growing beautifully.
I've got several batches of kombucha going -- ginger, blueberry and cinnamon, strawberry, and coffee kombucha. I'm sipping on the strawberry right now, and it's an absolutely refreshing delight.
this is a nice day, to just sit back, listen to some psychedelic folk music, and enjoy not really having much to do.
